The Kalpowar Crossing is a great campsite within the Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park.  There are large sites and the camping area sits beside a large crossing with an abundance of water.   There are drop toilets and cold showers.  There is a boat ramp which can be used for small boats/dingies but beware that crocodiles inhabit this area so care must be taken.  The road into this area is graded and not too difficult to travel.
