Clarence River Wilderness Lodge is just 3 hours from Brisbane and is situated on the headwaters of the Clarence River in the rugged Great Dividing Range.  The drive into this camping area is lovely although can be a bit rugged.  There are fire pits and the sites are right on the river. There are hot showers and composting toilet and there is a large camping shelter and kitchen area for use at the rear of the a large open grassy camping area.  There are also a number of secluded sites available for booking - these have no amenities.
