The Burke & Wills Dig Tree area is large and open with some trees for shade and sits on the banks of the Cooper Creek.  There is a wealth of information here regarding the Burke and Wills story and is a really interesting place to visit.  The road into the area is a rough graded road and we recommend small off-road caravans only.
