The Brushy Mountain Camping Area  is a large area amongst the trees with undesignated sites.  There area drop toilets and firepits.  

​

To get to this camp it's a good idea to take Hastings Forest Way into the area as Racecourse Trail in between Brushy Mountain and Mooraback is quite rough.  This is 4WD only country, especially when it's wet.
